Kalama® C-12 Lauric Aldehyde, also known as dodecanal, is a key linear aldehyde that brings a bright, citrus, aldehydic, waxy character to a variety of fragrance applications. With a slightly grassy essence, reminiscent of unripe fruit at low concentrations, C-12 Lauric Aldehyde is used in applications ranging from fine fragrances and perfumery, to personal care and cosmetics (such as soaps and shampoos) and household care (such as air care and air fresheners). When used in perfume compositions, C-12 Lauric Aldehyde can bring fruity notes of apple and strawberry or orange and lemon.
