Kalama® Benzaldehyde – FCC Low B&T is Emerald’s highest purity grade of benzaldehyde. It is highly refined to ensure very low benzene and very low toluene, meeting the highest purity and quality standards in the industry. It is especially valued in flavor and fragrance blends, utilized in many applications such as personal care, cosmetics, perfumery, and home care. It is a food-grade, GRAS (21 CFR §182.60) ingredient produced under an FSSC 22000 certified scheme for food safety.
Kalama® Benzaldehyde is a key aroma chemical, known for its unique, sweet character with notes of almond and cherry. Emerald offers several high purity grades, which are all nature identical to the benzaldehyde found in almonds, peaches, cherries, and apricots.
