Kalama® Benzaldehyde FCC is known for its uniquely sweet character and notes of cherry and almond. Emerald offers several high purity grades, all of which are nature identical to the benzaldehyde found in almonds, peaches, cherries, and apricots.
Kalama® Benzaldehyde FCC grade is a highly valued, food-grade, GRAS (21 CFR §182.60) flavor and fragrance ingredient used in a variety of applications, such as simulated almond oil, food, beverage, personal care, cosmetics, fine fragrances / perfumery, home care, and animal feed. It is produced under an FSSC 22000 certified scheme for food safety. Emerald’s manufacturing process also uses oxidation technology, ensuring that Kalama® Benzaldehyde does not contain chlorine residuals (low-chlorine or chlorine-free benzaldehyde), in contrast to many competitive benzaldehyde offerings.
