Kalama® Potassium Benzoate FCC

Kalama® Potassium Benzoate is a high purity preservative for food and beverage applications with an effective combination of antimicrobial action, low cost, safety, and an excellent odor/taste profile. It is valued as a low-sodium preservative replacement for sodium benzoate, which also retains the preservation efficacy of benzoic acid.

With a high purity level of at least 99%, Kalama Potassium Benzoate has little to no impact on formulation odor or color. It is a safe, effective solution for preserving foods and beverages, where it is typically used at 0.1%.
